Our client approached us to transform their unfinished basement into a vibrant and fun space for their teens. She envisioned a space that would make her home the go-to spot for her kids and their friends. Designing for kids allows you to play with color in exciting ways, and we fully embraced that! We kept the space bright and modern, adding plenty of texture and playful hues throughout. To make it unique, we incorporated unexpected touches, like contrasting beige trim against the white walls and a bold green fireplace. We also added a half bathroom, a kitchenette with a candy bar and created areas for homework, games, and arts and crafts. And, of course, we made sure to include the biggest, coziest couch for all the movie nights!
